About the Author

Zvi Ron learned in Yeshivat Shaalvim's Hesder Program and Kollel, received Semikhah from the Israeli Rabbanut, and earned a BA in Psychology at SUNY and a Ph.D. in Jewish Theology at Spertus University. Rabbi Ron served as Rabbi in Richmod, Virginia, from 1994 to 2004. He has published numerous articles and currently teaches at Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh in the Old City of Jerusalem, as well as a number of other schools for young men and women in Jerusalem. He lives in Neve Daniel with his wife Sharon, and their four children.
